Job Description

The Data Center Facility Manager position at AWS Infrastructure Services involves overseeing the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within data centers to ensure high reliability and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in data centers with an emphasis on (electrical/mechanical) building and equipment operation
• Excellent understanding of critical data center operations systems
• Proven track record of people management and team development
• Ability to solve problems at their root and maintain SLAs

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians
• Engage in improvement projects and drive them from conception to completion
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure adherence to SLAs
• Effectively and efficiently manage operations budget
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls and manage issue investigation, mitigation, and recovery
