NPL Lead Engineer

Job Description

The role involves leading product ramp enablement to ensure successful product launch and manufacturing readiness.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials) management, product configuration, and documentation control
• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Enovia – Advantage)
• Familiarity with mechanical drawing reviews
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is an advantage
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies; experience with MS Project and Office Timeline Plus is a plus
• Knowledge of project task management is an advantage
• Self-motivated and quick learner, capable of working independently and coordinating with globally distributed teams

Responsibilities

• Lead product ramp enablement and ensure division can scale to market demands while maintaining operational KPIs
• Represent Operations in all product lifecycle meetings and prepare and present product status and production readiness slides
• Participate in design reviews, provide technical feedback to support manufacturing and service perspectives
• Manage and track critical tasks, create detailed Gantt charts, and deliver training to Production ATE’s and MDE’s
• Handle and resolve Level 3 and Level 4 issues raised by Installation, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams
• Support updates to procedures and processes for current products in manufacturing
• Participate in the First Article Inspection (FAI) process for prototype assemblies
• Lead and supervise assigned ATE’s to support new product launch
