Software Dev Engineer -III

Job Description

Amazon's Project Kuiper is seeking a Software Development Engineer to work on designing, developing, and testing complete Kuiper-MAC FW for a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites providing broadband connectivity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Define multi-dimensional performance requirements and make performance trade-offs
• Build and debug embedded FW code in a real-time environment
• Contribute to defining services and functionalities of FW-subsystems
• Profile and execute code on RTOS and/or bare-metal embedded environment
