Manufacturing Engineer 2nd Shift – Space Hardware, Project Kuiper Manufacturing-Integration

Job Description

This position provides manufacturing engineering ownership of integrated and tested assemblies for the Project Kuiper satellite program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent
• 2+ year experience with integrating, testing and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems
• 1+ year experience with Computer Aided Design tools such as Solidworks or NX/Unigraphics

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner
• Support and manage daily production operations and eliminate blockers and/or part shortages
• Work with cross functional teams to solve production issues
• Provide design for manufacturability feedback and drive positive continuous change to hardware
• Work with process, quality, and design engineers to continuously improve manufacturing processes
