Sr Software Development Engineer, Identity Security & Abuse Prevention

Job Description

Amazon is seeking a software development engineer to join their Information Security team. The role involves designing and building secure systems to protect customer data across Amazon's platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience in full-stack development and software architecture
• Strong software engineering fundamentals in Java, Python, C++, C#, Objective-C, JavaScript
• Experience in leading design or architecture of new and existing systems

Responsibilities

• Design and build reusable, maintainable, and performant software using Amazon standard technologies
• Adopt best practices in software engineering including design, testing, and operations
• Solve problems at their root by understanding the broader context
• Build good working relationships within the team and across Amazon
• Follow Scrum and other agile methods to deliver features to customers
• Design and build authentication and authorization services at scale
