Software Development Engineer , Kuiper Network Customer Overlay

Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites providing broadband network connectivity to unserved communities. This role involves leading the technical team in building APIs for networking resources.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and lead initiatives to build networking functions on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for monitoring systems
• Work with cross functional teams to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate infrastructure
• Develop and mentor junior team members
• Engineer and build a reliable and available cloud service for customer connectivity
• Work on features enhancing service quality and security for customers
