Software Development Engineer, Kuiper Government Solutions

Job Description

Design, build, and maintain foundational software to extend Kuiper capabilities to US Government customers for secure satellite communications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of programming experience in modern programming languages such as Rust

Responsibilities

• Utilize network layer packet processing experience and Software Defined Networking
• Demonstrate interface capabilities in simulated test environments
• Solve complex technical problems related to Kuiper constellation usage
• Lead internal and vendor teams to develop and deliver software and interface requirements
• Ensure systems meet performance needs of Kuiper and Government customers
• Effectively communicate project health, risks, and issues to stakeholders
• Provide visualizations, document results, and communicate across project teams
