Job Description

Amazon is seeking self-motivated individuals to join the Operations Technology Solutions team as an IT Support Engineer I. The role involves implementing technical solutions and providing support for computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise application software.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a professional environment
• Experience with Cisco/networking, Linux and/or Microsoft
• Experience troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment
• Experience with networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP
• Experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation
• IT experience with client, server, and network service delivery
• Possession of a current, valid Driver License

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting
• Data cabling and systems administration
• Ensuring infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours
• Providing analytical and technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions
• Managing local technical projects
• Maintaining or creating policies, procedures, and processes
• Identifying root-causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies
• Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers
• Traveling within the local or regional area to support customers
