Job Description

Join the A to Z Communications team at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer working on the Raindrops project, designing and building the next generation of digital signage technology for Amazon's global fulfillment centers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable software solutions for the Raindrops digital signage platform
• Integrate Raindrops with Mercury for a unified communications platform
• Develop features to support content delivery pipelines, terminal management, and audience targeting
• Build administrative tools for terminal provisioning, channel management, and content approval workflows
• Implement advanced features like dynamic content variables, auto-translation, and multimedia support
• Collaborate with UX designers and product managers for intuitive authoring experiences
• Ensure seamless deployment and support of Raindrops terminals
• Create monitoring, alerting, and operational tools for system reliability
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions
