Engineering Team Program Manager , Fleet Remediation Engineering

Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is seeking a Fleet Remediation Engineering Portfolio Engineer to lead projects in modernizing the existing fleet of data centers to the latest design standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ cumulative years of experience with industrial or commercial engineering or project management in Mission Critical facilities
• 1+ year of experience using a variety of web-based and other software tools for calculation and data processing

Responsibilities

• Lead the Fleet Remediation Engineering portfolio for mechanical & electrical disciplines
• Prepare narratives for executive leadership with recommendations
• Learn and understand the AWS data center lifecycle
• Provide direct support to Fleet Remediation Project Design Engineers
• Interface with internal Fleet Remediation Engineering teams to maintain consistency and reliability in work-products
• Own and track budgets and internal-program schedules for the Fleet Remediation Engineering Team’s scope
• Create strong end-to-end team processes/mechanisms including training and validation of success through metrics-based criteria
• Manage Basis of Design lifecycle management program for the existing fleet of data centers
