Job Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Solutions Architect to support US Government customers in the Northern Virginia/DC Metro area, with a focus on implementing innovative cloud computing solutions and providing technical leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technology domain experience in areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
• 6+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
• Effective communication and presentation skills to various stakeholders
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS
• Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in architectural discussions
• Conduct training sessions and share best practices within the AWS solutions architect community
• Build relationships with technical individuals within customers to advocate for cloud solutions
