Senior Test Engineer, Avionics

Job Description

Amazon is looking for an electrical test engineer to work on Project Kuiper, launching Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide broadband connectivity worldwide.

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with lab equipment like spectrum analyzers, signal generators, electronic loads, power supplies, network analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, etc.
• Experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools
• Experience with complex board designs, including high-speed interconnects, high-reliability designs, avionics, vehicle control systems, and/or motor & actuator control electronics
• Experience with debugging designs with microprocessors, FPGAs, power supplies, and sensors

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy and requirements with key stakeholders
• Lead design verification tests for avionics subsystems
• Support various aspects of test engineering team through test system architecture, equipment selection, PCB design, harness design, and integration
• Partner with cross-functional teams for test system design and reviews
