Job Description

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to lead production development.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics/Optical Sciences or related field
• Experience with opto-mechanical systems, lean manufacturing practices, and root cause analysis techniques
• Familiarity with new product introduction and low-rate manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, develop, and improve production processes
• Serve as primary technical interface to development team
• Support operations team in high-pressure situations
• Own the capacity increase roadmap for production
