Operations Engineer, NASC Engineering

Job Description

NASC Engineering is seeking Operations Engineers to lead Material Flow Optimization Process initiatives in developing world-class sortation and transportation systems for Amazon.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
• Experience working with and managing third party vendors
• Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations
• Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in short timeframes
• Manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders
• Travel 30% - 50% domestically
