Senior Post Silicon Engineer

Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites providing broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. As a Senior Post Silicon Engineer, you will be responsible for validating and characterizing MODEM SOC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years of work experience in Bring Up, Validation, and characterization of SOC or ASIC
• Proficient in characterizing PLL performance through metrics like jitter, phase noise
• Experience using Benchtop instruments such as Power Supply, DMM, High-Speed Oscilloscope, Signal generator, Spectrum Analyzer, BERT, RF Switches, and DAQs
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Embedded C
• Expertise with JTAG-based debugging tools (e.g., Lauterbach)

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive validation and characterization planning for MODEM SOC and high-speed peripherals (LPDDR4, SerDes)
• Design and develop SOC test platforms with robust architectural integrity
• Develop and maintain advanced test automation and comprehensive testbenches for high-speed interfaces and peripheral (I3C, QSPI, Ethernet)
• Conduct system-level debugs in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Design, DV, Architecture, Manufacturing)
• Work with FPGA, Emulators, and DV Environment to ensure successful Bring Up
