Industrial Design Engineer, R2L

Job Description

Amazon is seeking an Industrial Designer to join the Design Engineering team to support the expansion of their Rural Delivery and Sub Same Day delivery services by designing and optimizing the delivery and sortation network.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent industrial and operations background
• 4+ years of engineering experience in industrial, logistics, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, architectural, robotics, production environment
• Expertise in AutoCAD, REVIT or any other CAD program
• Experience in solution optimization, value engineering, best fit analysis, process development

Responsibilities

• Work with key stakeholders on design and expansion criteria
• Develop design and analytical models for feasibility and operational cost analysis
• Generate and implement design processes to meet operational and safety criteria
• Review and optimize existing designs
• Communicate project progress and manage stakeholders
• Train and articulate standards across teams
