Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring continual access to innovation for customers. They are looking for talented individuals to join their diverse team of experts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience in a mission-critical infrastructure or equivalent industry
• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or relevant experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Monitor work requests, manage resolution, and execute projects
• Work schedule flexibility including shifts up to 12-hours with on-call rotations
• Physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in varying conditions
