Data Center Engineering Operations Technician

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. They ensure continual access to innovation by supporting data centers and related equipment. The team collaborates to deliver high standards for safety, security, and cost-efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• Technical training or experience in mission-critical infrastructure
• Experience with Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Monitoring and managing Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Management Systems
• Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Executing projects from conception to completion
• Supporting contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors on-site
• Working in shifts up to 12-hours and on-call rotations
