Job Description

The Data Center Facility Manager at Amazon is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within data centers, ensuring high reliability and performance while managing operating costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or Equivalent work experience in Mechanical/Electrical Field
• 5+ years experience in a management position with 5 or more direct reports
• 5+ years experience working in data centers with an emphasis on (electrical/mechanical) building and equipment operation

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians
• Engage in improvement projects and drive them from conception to completion
• Effectively and efficiently manage the operations budget and expenditures
• Act as the afterhours on-call Data Center Facility Manager for the data centers in the region
