Night Shift Engineering Operations Technician

Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure to ensure continuous access to innovation for customers. They are looking for talented individuals to join their team.

Requirements

• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products
• High school or equivalent diploma

Responsibilities

• Performing daily building rounds to monitor and record information from various equipment
• Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Performing rack installs, decommissioning, and maintenance of equipment
• Monitoring work requests and managing projects from conception to completion
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Working in shifts up to 12-hours and may require on-call rotations
• Maintaining physical requirements for the role
