Job Description

Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) in their Data Center Engineering Operations team, maintaining and operating critical infrastructure systems in sophisticated, safe, and secure data centers.

Requirements

• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 2+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience
• 2+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products
• High school or equivalent diploma

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds for monitoring and recording information from critical equipment
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within SLAs
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning within SLAs
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of equipment
• Support change management program with technical writing
• Monitor daily work requests, manage to resolution, and execute projects
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
