Data Center Controls Technician, Data Center Capacity Delivery

Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is seeking a Controls Technician to work on the Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Monitoring System in Amazon data centers. This role involves installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial control systems.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or Associate degree in industrial instrumentation/controls or equivalent experience
• Experience with computer components and operating systems
• Experience with low and medium voltage electrical and/or mechanical systems

Responsibilities

• Performing field work at Data Center sites for system deployment and service
• Conducting diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation for BMS and EPMS
• Configuring and testing network communication between devices and controllers
• Commissioning of sensors and field devices
• Supervising electrical contractors, performing wiring, and installation of devices
• Providing support for testing, commissioning, and safety protocols
