Data Center Ops Technician, DCC Communities

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is looking for Data Center Technicians to support customers in multiple locations, ensuring overall availability and reliability of data center operations.

Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant experience in data center operations, IT support, or a similar technical field
• 1+ years of troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve undefined technical problems
• Willingness to participate in a primary responder rotation and support 24/7 data center operations

Responsibilities

• Performing server rack installations, hardware break-fix, troubleshooting network issues, and responding to operational incidents
• Serving as a primary contact point for internal and external stakeholders
• Participating in scheduled maintenance and change management activities
• Contributing to documentation and process improvement initiatives
• Helping to train and onboard new team members
