Night Shift Engineering Operations Technician

Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure to ensure continuous access to innovation for customers.

Requirements

• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience in a mission-critical infrastructure or equivalent industry
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products
• High school or equivalent diploma

Responsibilities

• Performing daily building rounds to monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
• Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Performing rack installs and decommissioning
• Performing PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of equipment
• Monitoring work requests, managing resolutions, and executing projects
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Adhering to specific site needs and working schedule changes
• Maintaining physical requirements for the job
