Night Shift Engineering Operations Technician

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, supporting data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment.

Requirements

• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products
• High school or equivalent diploma

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
• Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of equipment
• Support change management program through technical writing
• Manage projects from conception to completion
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Work in shifts up to 12 hours and may have on-call rotations
