Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, supporting data centers and ensuring continuous access to innovation for customers.

Requirements

• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or equivalent experience in a relevant industry
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years' experience with Microsoft Office products (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Performing daily building rounds to monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
• Monitoring Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS)
• Assisting in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Performing rack installs and decommissioning within internal SLA
• Performing PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Technical writing to support change management program
• Monitoring daily work requests and managing to resolution, executing projects from conception to completion
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors, ensuring work is in accordance with established practices, procedures & local legislation
• Working in an environment requiring provided ear protection
