Job Description

Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) to work in sophisticated and secure data centers, ensuring 24/7 reliability and availability of critical infrastructure systems.

Requirements

• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 2+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience
• 2+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products
• High school or equivalent diploma

Responsibilities

• Perform daily building rounds to monitor and record information from critical equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve facility and rack-level events within Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Execute projects from conception to completion
• Conduct technical writing to support change management program
• Support contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure work compliance with established practices and local legislation
