Job Description

Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to maintain and operate critical infrastructure systems in sophisticated data centers worldwide.

Requirements

• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 2+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience
• High school diploma
• 2+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 2+ years' experience with Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor and record information from critical systems
• Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of equipment
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Work schedule flexibility with shifts up to 12-hours
