Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking Data Center Technicians to support customers in multiple locations by ensuring availability and reliability of data center operations.

Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant experience in data center operations, IT support, or similar technical field
• 1+ years of troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve undefined technical problems
• Willingness to participate in a primary responder rotation and support 24/7 data center operations
• An Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent professional or military experience in a relevant field
• Experience working in a Data Center environment
• Understanding of network design, protocols, troubleshooting, and in-depth hardware knowledge
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system

Responsibilities

• Performing server rack installations, hardware break-fix, troubleshooting network issues, and responding to operational incidents
• Serving as a primary contact point for internal and external stakeholders
• Performing on-call duties and participating in scheduled maintenance and change management activities
• Contributing to documentation and process improvement initiatives
• Helping to train and onboard new team members
