Engineering Operations Technician

Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is looking for talented individuals to join their diverse team of engineers and specialists to support and maintain the global AWS infrastructure.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training or 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years' experience with Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Performing daily building rounds to monitor and record information from equipment
• Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Performing rack installs and decommissioning
• Performing PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of equipment
• Monitoring daily work requests and managing projects from conception to completion
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Working in shifts up to 12 hours and may have on-call rotations
• Maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting mission-critical data center facility equipment
