Engineering Operations Technician

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is looking for talented individuals to join their team in maintaining and operating critical infrastructure systems within AWS data centers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• Technical training or equivalent experience in a relevant industry
• Experience with Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment
• Support change management program through technical writing
• Manage work requests and execute projects
• Provide on-site support to contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Work in shifts up to 12 hours with potential on-call rotations
• Maintain physical work requirements as specified
