Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is looking for talented individuals to join their team responsible for maintaining and operating mission-critical data center facility equipment.

Requirements

• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience in a mission-critical infrastructure or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products
• High school or equivalent diploma

Responsibilities

• Performing daily building rounds to monitor and record information from equipment for reliability and availability
• Assisting in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events
• Performing rack installs and decommissioning within internal SLAs
• Performing PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Monitoring work requests and managing to resolution
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Working on a shift schedule that may include up to 12-hour shifts and on-call rotations
• Supporting more than one location/site
