Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring continuous access to innovation for customers. They are looking for talented individuals to join their diverse team.

Requirements

Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 2+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience in a mission-critical infrastructure or equivalent experience
2+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products
High school or equivalent diploma

Responsibilities

Performing daily building rounds to monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements
Performing rack installs and decommissioning within internal SLA
Conducting PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
Monitoring daily work requests, managing resolution, and executing projects from conception to completion
Providing on-site support to contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
Adhering to work schedule changes depending on specific site needs
Working in an environment requiring physical tasks like lifting, walking, climbing, bending, and more
