Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure to ensure continuous access to innovation for customers. They are looking for talented individuals to join their diverse team.

Requirements

• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 2+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience in a mission-critical infrastructure or equivalent experience in a relevant industry
• 2+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• High school or equivalent diploma

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
• Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements
• Performing rack installs and decommissioning, PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Technical writing to support change management program
• Monitoring daily work requests, managing resolution, and executing projects from conception to completion
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors, ensuring work is performed in accordance with established practices, procedures & local legislation
