Job Description

Join the Amazon Web Services team as an Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) responsible for maintaining and operating critical infrastructure systems in some of the world's most sophisticated data centers.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent diploma
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years' experience with Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Performing daily building rounds to monitor and record information from critical infrastructure systems
• Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Performing rack installs and decommissioning
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment
• Supporting change management program through technical writing
• Managing daily work requests and executing projects
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Working in shifts up to 12 hours and on-call rotations
• Maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting mission-critical data center facility equipment
