Engineering Operations Technician, EOT L4

Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is currently hiring for an Engineering Technician to support data centers, ensuring high reliability and performance while maintaining low operating costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical (Military/ Trade School) Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
• 2+ years of electrical, mechanical or data center experience
• 2+ years experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors and perform limited maintenance tasks
• Perform root cause analysis for operational issues and troubleshoot facility events
• Take daily operational readings, provide metrics reporting, and drive innovation in reducing operational costs
• Manage contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors ensuring work is in accordance with established practices
• Ensure safety procedures are adhered to while performing work
