Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking talented individuals to join their diverse team of engineers and specialists to support and maintain AWS global infrastructure.

Requirements

• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products
• High school or equivalent diploma
• 2+ years of Data Center Engineering experience (Preferred)
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Performing daily building rounds to monitor and record information from equipment
• Monitoring Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Management System
• Troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Performing rack installs and decommissioning
• Performing PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of equipment
• Technical writing to support change management program
• Managing daily work requests and projects from conception to completion
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Adhering to physical requirements including lifting, construction tasks, and working in specific environmental conditions
