Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking talented individuals to join their team responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of electrical and/or mechanical experience OR 2+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience
• 2+ years of MS Office Suite experience

Responsibilities

• Driving innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities
• Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within SLA
• Performing rack installs, decommissioning, operational readings, and facility management
• Providing key performance indicators to senior engineers
• On-site management of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Performing maintenance and operations on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
• Ensuring safety procedures are followed
• Performing support concepts such as ticketing systems, root cause analysis, change management, and building management systems
• Maintaining data center critical infrastructure equipment for uptime
• Walking job sites in uneven terrain and performing construction tasks
• Lifting and moving weights, using hands and fingers, reaching, stooping, kneeling, climbing stairs, bending, working above shoulders, grasping, carrying, pushing, and pulling
