Job Description

The Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager will lead teams in the development of space-based and ground-based mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, ensuring innovative solutions that meet customer goals.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years managing hardware engineering teams
• 8+ years as a lead mechanical engineer
• Expertise in spacecraft structures or electronics packaging applications

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team of mechanical designers and analysts on various projects
• Establish technical standards and guidelines for the team
• Chair design reviews, risk assessments, and problem resolution
• Develop and report performance metrics for the mechanical engineering team
• Support project and resource planning for individual projects
