Job Description

The Sr. Ops Engineer Deployment & Ramp role at Amazon's Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Customer Experience Org involves overseeing multiple products, programs, and projects related to deploying MSP solutions, with a focus on installation, commissioning, and performance ramp up in the field.

Requirements

• 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
• Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
• Experience managing project portfolios, budgets and decentralized resources to execute project goals
• Ability to travel frequently both within country up to 75% and occasional internationally (~5%)
• Experience in Robotics, Automation, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or other warehouse environments

Responsibilities

• Manage development of project plans and technical solutions
• Influence decisions on deployment and machine performance execution strategy to senior level leadership
• Tactical planning on installation of complex cross-functional projects with considerable impact
• Own strategy of program/product for annual planning of resources and budget
• Communication of program execution and performance verbally and in writing
