Job Description

The Process Engineer position at Amazon involves designing, developing, and improving self-service software products to support Amazon's third-party sellers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, related technical field or equivalent experience
• Experience in process development, product design, software development, business process improvement
• Working knowledge of data and process modeling
• Experience with programming/markup/scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Ruby, SQL, Markdown, HTML, CSS)
• Experience in Scrum methodologies and delivering large-scale enterprise solutions

Responsibilities

• Analyzing operational processes and designing high-quality self-service software products
• Engaging with stakeholders to document requirements and create functional specifications
• Become a subject matter expert on internal process maps and architecture
• Developing and improving automated self-service software products
• Engaging with software development teams to automate manual tasks
• Deep diving into technical issues to propose effective solutions
