Job Description

The Project Design Electrical Engineer position at Amazon involves leading design projects in operational data centers to remediate issues, upgrade existing infrastructure, or add new services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3+ cumulative years of design experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities
• 3+ years experience with data center builds, network engineering, systems engineering

Responsibilities

• Own the design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions
• Prepare/review short circuit coordination studies and maintain software models
• Perform design and equipment submittal review for Data Centers
• Interface with internal and external data center design engineering team
• Support construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover
