Job Description

The Server Hardware Development Engineer position at Amazon Web Services (AWS) involves designing and building next-generation servers and AWS-specific hardware components to support the development and management of various services in AWS.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in server level design for compute, storage, accelerator segment or other complex product design
• 5+ years’ experience leading ODMs and other suppliers in the product development and manufacturing processes
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
• Experience in board and server root cause analysis and resolution

Responsibilities

• Integration of hardware/software components to build servers
• Supporting operations in all server locations
• Executing product designs from concept to production including design, development, validation, and deployment at scale
• Leading cross-organizational teams to improve factors such as total cost of ownership, quality, reliability, performance, and serviceability
