Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. This role involves designing and delivering a modern, flexible, scalable, high throughput, low latency network architecture for the Kuiper network.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver a modern, flexible, scalable, high throughput, low latency network architecture
• Implement planning and scheduling of network links at scale
• Implement highly-available software for networking control plane operation
• Define and automate processes for software development, implementation, testing, and maintenance
