Job Description

Join the Amazon Foundational People Data Services (FPDS) team to work with the latest technology in cloud computing space and build innovative solutions using Amazon Web Services.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable software solutions
• Write high-quality, maintainable code following best practices
• Create detailed technical specifications for complex features
• Drive technical decisions within the team
• Participate in architectural decisions with Senior and Principle Engineers
• Operational Excellence: Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, identify and implement operational improvements
• Collaborate effectively with product managers to refine requirements and other engineering teams on dependencies
