Job Description

Join AWS Board Core Design & Services team to own next-generation server components with a focus on PCIe design for AWS server platforms.

Requirements

• BS Electrical/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with PCB schematic and layout design
• Proficient in PCIe standards: electrical, physical layer, data link layer at PCIe Gen5 or above
• Strong proficiency with PCIe protocol analyzers
• Experience with PCIe compliance testing and validation
• Proven track record in PCIe performance optimization and root cause analysis

Responsibilities

• Own next-generation server components with a strong focus on PCIe design
• Analyze, debug, validate, and optimize PCIe implementations at large scale
• Interact with an interdisciplinary team of engineers to ensure robust system functionality
• Contribute to hardware design and development, manufacturing quality validation, and hardware reliability improvement in data centers
