Job Description

AWS is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their global data center engineering team in Herndon, Virginia, responsible for designing and innovating within their expanding data center infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Coursework in commercial/industrial power systems and/or mechanical systems
• Experience using a variety of web-based and other software tools for calculation and data processing

Responsibilities

• Define and analyze piping and pipe supports to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to design and develop new data center product solutions
• Support field engineering and data center operation teams for root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Simplify, optimize, and lower costs of data center mechanical components
• Provide technical expertise to peers, senior management, and partner teams
