Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, supporting data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment.

Requirements

• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience in a mission-critical infrastructure or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products
• High school or equivalent diploma
• 2+ years of Data Center Engineering experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Performing daily building rounds to monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
• Monitoring Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS)
• Assisting in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Performing rack installs and decommissioning within internal SLA
• Performing PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Monitoring daily work requests and managing to resolution
• Executing projects from conception to completion
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Adhering to specific site needs for work schedule changes
