Job Description

As a Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will build technical relationships with customers of all sizes and operate as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey.

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS or another major cloud service provider
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent experience
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and customers
• Make recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency
• Link technology to tangible solutions
• Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices and new reference architectures
• Educate about AWS technology and industry trends
