Job Description

Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Data Center Facility Manager overseeing the critical physical infrastructure of the world's largest cloud computing portfolio.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent diploma
• 4+ years of experience in a management position with 5 or more direct reports
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a data center or other mission-critical environment with knowledge in UPS, Generators, HVAC, Evaporators, and other critical infrastructure OR 7+ years of Technical (Military/Trade School) training and/or experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure
• Manage on-site teams ensuring work is performed to high quality and safety standards
• Drive safety and security culture and compliance within the team
• Engage in improvement projects and oversee emergency services on critical systems
• Serve as an escalation point for facilities-related issues
• Assist in the buildout of new facilities and projects to increase current facility efficiency
